Project 2 - Decisive Movement

INSTRUCTION

 MIB:

PROJECT 2 - Decisive Movement 20%

 We were asked to choose a Hollywood movie and then design a poster, develop and animated illustration. In this project, the movie that I've choose is Frozen by  Jennifer Less and Chris Buck.

These are my references and my design will probably be like this, main colour is blue and have a cold feeling.

after some adjustment, added effects and logline into the poster. I decided to animate the quadrangle that between the character and the snowflake.

Week 6 :
No feedback is given.

Week 7 :
No lecture for this week due to public holiday. So, I consulted Miss Yvonne personally for my references and sketches. Miss Yvonne says I have enough reference but need to categorize my research data. So far I am on the right track on the designing part, have to explore more designs on my own.

Week 8 :
must have a concept and keyword such as cold, mysterious. Try to think a sentence to describe your poster.

Week 9 :
No feedback is given
REFLECTION

This project is hard for me since I have never design a poster for a movie. I wanted to make it straight forward and the animation part will express what is the movie about. After I got my idea, I try to make my poster simple (silhouette), and I am only using blue colour for the whole poster because the movie Frozen is cold and blue.
