I like the lines that are connected with the words.

figure 3, reference
This poster is playing around with different sizes of words as you can see the "risk" and "lose" was emphasized.

Sketches :
Quote : "If you stay positive in a negative situation, you win !"
The keywords in my poster are POSITIVE, NEGATIVE and YOU WIN.

Mr Vinod says I have to come out with digital form.

figure 5, posters that I have designed
I wanted to make it contrast since my keyword is "POSITIVE" and "NEGATIVE". Other than that, I decided to make the word "NEGATIVE" upside down or reverse because the antonym of negative is positive.

after I got the approval. I will be working on this poster as my finalization and I've change the size of the words as what Mr Vinod suggested.

Animated version :
Figure 1, first attempt
This is a nice poster and Mr Vinod says he like the splash at the background, unfortunately it does not have the relation with the line.

Figure 2, second attempt
Make the animation focus on black and white to express the keywords positive and negative.

figure 3, third attempt
After I got the feedback, I tried to come out with the idea of "grain effect".

FEEDBACK

Week 10 : (19/16/2020)
General feedback : Don't play too much graphical stuff, the poster must focus on the quotes not graphical elements.

Specific feedback : Have to come out with digital form.

Week 11 : (26/06/2020)
General feedback : align is very important.

Specific feedback :
1. The bottom first from the left is a good layout but unfortunately it does not express the meaning of the line.

2. Bottom third from left seems interesting to work with, have to increase the size of the "POSITIVE" and "NEGATIVE" until the border of the poster.

3. After adjustment, it can be better to add some texture at the background since my background is black and white.

Week 12 : (03/06/2020)
General feedback : No feedback is given

Specific feedback : The poster look nice with the splash background, unfortunately it does not have the relation with the line.

Week 13 : (10/07/2020)
General feedback : No feedback is given

Specific feedback : The animation still doesn't have the relation with the line.

REFLECTION
Week 10 : (19/06/2020)
Experience : I am having fun with this project. I try to apply everything that I have learned from the previous projects and exercises on it.

Observation : This project is much more easier compared to the previous one, or maybe I have learned the things in previous work, so this wont be very hard for me.

Findings : Explore more and try to express the keywords in the poster as much as I can.

Week 11 : (26/06/2020)
Experience : everything is going smoothly, I have my finalized poster and has to animate it.

Observation : even though the poster is fine but the animation is another part I have to think about how to animate it to fully express the meaning of the design.

Findings : animation is just not for me, but I will try my best to do it.

Week 12 : (03/06/2020)
Experience : Designing the poster isn't really hard for me since I've done the previous exercises and projects but the challenging part is your animation has to relate to the line.

Observation : I think it is really hard to animate the idea about "positive" and "negative".

Findings : I tried to add other texture for the background as it looks a bit plain.

Week 13 : (10/07/2020)
Experience : I really like the first GIF animation but it does not have the relation with the keyword. So, I decided to keep the animation focus on the background black and white.

Observation : It is hard to think a way to animate the idea that express the keywords in my poster since my poster is black and white.

Findings : Designing a GIF poster is not only thinking about the design layout, you also have to consider the way you animate your poster has the relation with the keywords.

figure 1, The cover of Thinking with Type
The book Thinking with Type is written by Ellen Lupton and it contains 208 pages.  With this book ,Lupton served as the editor, while it was researched and written by a team of students and faculty at Maryland Institute Collage of Art where Lupton teaches. The content does focus entirely on designing for screens, but the examples feel date already.

Designing with Type: The Essential Guide to Typography by James Craig

This book is written by Jams Craig and Irene Korok Scala and it has 176 pages. First published in 1971, Designing with Type is now in its fifth edition. Its longevity is a testament to its status as a classic. Commonly used in collage curriculum on design, it feels more like a school workbook than a traditional book.
